These guys are real life heroes. I had a commissioning ceremony the other day where my parents were pinning me as a 2nd Lieutenant into the Army and the company I ordered my pins and name tape from messed up and misspelled the name tape. I would have had to wear someone else’s name due to Army regulations but I called this store accidentally thinking it was a military surplus store and explained what I needed. Mike Carter, the owner of Surplusgizmos, picked up the phone and listened to what I needed. He gave me his cell number so I could send pictures and tell him exactly the Army regulations for a name plate for my Army Green Service Uniform. The exact same day, Mike had four viable options for me with one of them perfectly matching exactly what I needed and allowing me to wear my own name at my ceremony. Due to his incredibly ability to hand create such a perfect product and the memories I now have attached to it, I will keep it on my uniform throughout my career. Thanks guys!

This is a very fun little store if you're into electronics. From modern to vintage, they seem to have parts for everything. I wish there was a store like this closer to Spokane. I wasn't looking for anything specific, but everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend.

The resultof our 'short person discount' my boy loved choosing and then taking a partthegizmo from aisle 9. I appreciated the pleasant employees and the loads of electronic gadgets to peruse.

Amazing help given and so appreciate the time, patience and effort that was put in to solve my urgent challenge! Husband just had surgery and needed a unusual 6v power supply with weird small end. They sorted me out, not from a stock item but rather by taking the time to make up one specially for me. What great customer service, rarely found these days. Thank you!

Yoooo, if you haven't been here for "a little do-hicky" or "thinga ma bob", then you haven't found the electronic/ gizmo/ modified part to modify your other thing with the thing you didnt know you needed yet and your project is left undone. So hey you, get in here and see what you never knew you needed. And yes, some parts are labeled "thingie that connects" or "in between thing, thing". For real.

Quirky store with literally everything you need for anything electronics related. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I will be coming back often to pick up stuff I need for projects. I also love their selection of computers and computer parts- new and vintage!

This place is amazing for any "Maker" or hobbyist or electronics whiz for parts. Also excellent for hard-to-find electronic parts/substitutes or old-school solid state hardware. I got a great deal on a NOS variac that was not made in China, and some assorted parts for my ac to DC power supply project. I highly recommend visiting and supporting this tremendous resource!
